I’ve finally got around to posting my unboxing of the Mark the Page August ‘Enchantment’ Box! I only recently discovered Mark the Page and at the time they were have a clearance sale of several of their past boxes so I decided to try it out.
Because it was a past box I did know what I was getting but it was still just as awesome to open and I decided on the August box as the book had been on my radar for a while.
First off, this was all really well packaged and done so that there was limited movement in transit which is really good. This artwork by Adelayde Art was on the front of the card describing the contents of the box and its gorgeous in it’s own right. The art on these cards it different each month to match the theme.
First out of the box was this beautiful candle by A Little Touch of Books. Inspired by the book of the month the Something Wicked candle has scents of black raspberry, rainforest and Japanese honeysuckle. It smells absolutely divine and quickly climbed to one of my favourite bookish candles I’ve received.
Up next and also inspired by the book of the month was an exclusive roll on perfume by Behind the Pages. This Scent of Home perfume has notes of honey, wildflowers and pine. I have fallen in love with this perfume, it smells absolutely lovely and is not overwhelming but a subtle scent.
Next up was a Lord of the Rings inspired bookmark, also done by Behind the Pages. These bookmarks are so lovely and well done.
The box also contained this stunning ribbon bookmark by Marked Books. A lovely yellow ribbon with a large music note pendant attached, it’s so pretty.
The final item in the box was a Harry Potter inspired print. It was illustrated by Aparna at Appydrawzz on instagram.
The book of the month was Wicked Like a Wildfire by Lana Popović. I devoured this sumptuous tale of sisters, magic and Death. You can find my review here if you missed it. The book also came with a lovely bonus letter from the author.
I absolutely loved this box and will definitely be buying from Mark the Page again!
